COURSE CURRICULUM

The Master of Business (MBus) is a 2-year program requiring completion of 32 units, designed to build strong foundational business knowledge, specialist expertise, and practical leadership skills. Students begin with 6 units of MBus Foundational Courses, covering Financial Management for Decision Makers, Business Analysis Tools and Techniques, and Business and Society, which establish core analytical and decision-making skills. This is followed by 2 units of MBus Core Courses focusing on Management Communication. Students then complete 10 units from one chosen Field of Study such as Advertising, Human Resource Management, Information Systems, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, International Business, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, Law for Business, or Sustainability, allowing deep specialization. The program also includes 2 units of Capstone Courses, where students apply strategic thinking through real-world business problem-solving. Depending on the study pathway, students may complete either a second Field of Study with electives or a flexible combination of electives, including research courses, program electives, and general postgraduate subjects. Optional areas include leadership, consulting, economics, business ethics, and industry placements, providing exposure to real business environments. Overall, the program combines academic theory with practical application through consultancy projects, internships, and research opportunities, preparing graduates for leadership roles, career transitions, and advancement across diverse global business sectors.
