COURSE CURRICULUM

The combined Bachelor of Computer Science and Bachelor of Business Management program requires students to complete a total of 64 units of study, providing a balanced education in advanced computing and business leadership. The Bachelor of Computer Science component accounts for 32 units and forms the technical foundation of the degree. It includes 24 units of core computer science courses covering essential topics such as programming, algorithms, data structures, software engineering, databases, computer systems, and computational problem-solving. Students also complete 2 to 4 units from introductory computer science electives and 4 to 6 units from advanced computer science electives, allowing them to explore specialised areas such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, machine learning, data science, or advanced software development. The Bachelor of Business Management component also consists of 32 units and includes 16 units of core business courses along with a business management major requirement. These studies provide knowledge in accounting, economics, marketing, management, organisational behaviour, business law, information systems, and leadership. Together, the two components develop both technical expertise and commercial understanding, enabling students to bridge the gap between technology and business strategy. Graduates gain strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills, preparing them for careers in technology management, software development, business analysis, consulting, entrepreneurship, digital transformation, and leadership positions in technology-driven organisations worldwide.
