COURSE CURRICULUM

The combined Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Arts program requires students to complete a total of 64 units of study, designed to develop both strong business expertise and broad academic knowledge in the humanities. The Bachelor of Commerce component accounts for 32 units and includes 16 units of core courses and 16 units from one chosen commerce major. The core courses provide a foundation in essential business areas such as accounting, economics, finance, business information systems, statistics, management, and business law, ensuring students develop strong analytical and technical skills for modern business environments. Students then specialise through a selected commerce major, allowing deeper expertise in fields such as accounting, finance, business analytics, or related disciplines. The Bachelor of Arts component also consists of 32 units and offers flexibility to tailor studies according to individual interests and career goals. Students may complete either two majors from the Arts discipline or one extended major combined with a minor, covering areas such as languages, politics, history, culture, and social sciences. This structure encourages intellectual breadth and critical thinking alongside professional business training. Overall, the program develops transferable skills such as communication, problem-solving, creativity, and analytical reasoning.
