COURSE CURRICULUM

The combined Bachelor of Business Management and Bachelor of Laws (Honours) program requires students to complete a total of 80 units of study, structured to develop strong expertise in both business administration and legal practice. The Bachelor of Business Management component accounts for 32 units and is streamlined for this dual degree, consisting of 14 units of core business courses, no business major requirement, and 2 units of general electives. The core business courses provide foundational knowledge in key areas such as accounting, economics, marketing, management, organisational behaviour, business information systems, and business law, ensuring students gain a broad understanding of how organisations function. The Bachelor of Laws (Honours) component is the larger part of the program, comprising 48 units. This includes 36 units of core law courses covering essential legal areas such as contracts, criminal law, torts, property law, constitutional law, and legal theory, along with 12 units of flexible core law courses that allow students to explore specialised legal topics. The program is designed to develop strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to construct clear and persuasive legal arguments. Graduates are well prepared for careers in law, business, consulting, government, and policy, with strong capabilities to work across both legal and commercial environments in professional and leadership roles.
