COURSE CURRICULUM

The combined Bachelor of Business Management and Bachelor of Communication program requires students to complete a total of 64 units of study, designed to build strong expertise in both business administration and professional communication. The Bachelor of Business Management component accounts for 32 units and includes 16 units of core courses along with 16 units from one selected business major. The core courses provide a foundation in essential business areas such as accounting, economics, marketing, law, information systems, management, and organisational behaviour, ensuring students develop a broad understanding of how organisations operate. The Bachelor of Communication component also comprises 32 units and is structured similarly, with 16 units of core communication courses and 16 units from a chosen communication major. The core communication courses focus on developing skills in media, writing, visual communication, interpersonal communication, and communication theory, enabling students to effectively analyse and produce messages across different platforms. The major allows students to specialise in areas such as public relations, journalism, digital media, or strategic communication, depending on their interests and career goals. This dual structure ensures students gain both analytical business skills and advanced communication capabilities.
