COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor of Business Management and Bachelor of Commerce combined program requires students to complete a total of 64 units of study, structured to provide both a strong foundation in core business principles and specialised knowledge through majors and electives. The program includes 20 units of compulsory core courses that cover essential areas such as management accounting, financial reporting, information systems, economics, statistics, finance, business law, management, organisational behaviour, and marketing, ensuring students gain a comprehensive understanding of key business functions. In addition, students must complete one 16-unit major from the Bachelor of Business Management list and one 16-unit major from the Bachelor of Commerce list, allowing them to specialise in areas such as business economics, human resources, international business, marketing, innovation and entrepreneurship, accounting, finance, business analytics, or business information systems. To further customise their studies, students must complete either a 12-unit Business Management minor option or 12 units of general electives, which can be selected from approved business or other undergraduate courses. The program also includes a restriction limiting students to a maximum of 28 units at Level 1, encouraging progression into advanced study. This flexible yet structured degree prepares graduates with strong analytical, technical, and leadership skills, enabling them to pursue careers in accounting, finance, consulting, analytics, marketing, management, and international business across global industries.
