COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor of Agribusiness and Bachelor of Wildlife Science program requires students to complete a total of 64 units of study, divided equally between two complementary disciplines to build expertise in both business management and wildlife science. The Bachelor of Agribusiness component consists of 32 units, all of which are core courses designed to develop a strong foundation in agribusiness systems. These courses cover key areas such as agricultural economics, agrifood supply chains, marketing, finance, sustainability, and the commercial and operational aspects of food and fibre industries. This component equips students with essential business and management skills needed to understand and operate within global agricultural and environmental markets. The Bachelor of Wildlife Science component also consists of 32 units, entirely made up of core wildlife science courses. These courses provide comprehensive training in wildlife biology, ecology, animal behaviour, conservation science, and ecosystem management, with a strong emphasis on understanding and protecting biodiversity. The structured core-only format of both components ensures students gain deep, discipline-specific knowledge in each field without optional electives, resulting in a focused and integrated learning experience. By combining these two areas of study, the program prepares graduates for interdisciplinary careers that bridge business and conservation, enabling them to work in wildlife management, environmental consultancy, sustainability planning, agribusiness leadership, and global conservation initiatives addressing complex ecological and economic challenges.
