COURSE CURRICULUM

The combined Bachelor of Agribusiness and Bachelor of Agricultural Science program requires students to complete a total of 64 units of study, structured across two complementary disciplines to build both business and scientific expertise in agriculture. The Bachelor of Agribusiness component accounts for 32 units and consists entirely of core agribusiness courses that provide a strong foundation in areas such as agricultural markets, finance, marketing, supply chain management, sustainability, and the broader agrifood value chain. This component develops essential business and management skills needed to operate effectively in global agricultural industries. The Bachelor of Agricultural Science component also comprises 32 units, which are divided into 16 units of core agricultural science courses and 16 units from a chosen major. The core courses establish fundamental scientific knowledge in areas such as biology, ecology, chemistry, and data analysis relevant to agriculture. Students then specialize by selecting one major from the available Agricultural Science majors, allowing deeper study in a specific field such as crop production, livestock systems, or horticultural science. This integrated structure ensures graduates gain both strong commercial understanding and advanced scientific capability. The program prepares students for diverse careers in agribusiness, agricultural research, sustainability, and food systems, while also equipping them to address global challenges such as food security, climate change, and sustainable agricultural development.
