COURSE CURRICULUM

The curriculum spans 4 years (64 units). Year 1 covers introductory psychology, statistics, biology for psychologists, and electives. Year 2 includes social and organisational psychology, learning and cognition, research methods, and neuroscience. Year 3 delves into advanced topics like developmental psychology, psychological disorders, measurement in psychology, and applied areas such as health or cultural psychology. The honours year (Year 4) involves advanced theory, research design, a major research project and thesis, plus electives. Students complete 1000 hours of supervised practice if pursuing professional pathways. The program emphasizes evidence-based approaches, ethical practice, and research skills.
