COURSE CURRICULUM

The curriculum includes foundational sciences such as anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics in the first year. Subsequent years cover musculoskeletal, neurological, cardiorespiratory physiotherapy, and specialized areas like pediatrics and geriatrics. Students undertake research methods and an honours research project. Clinical placements start from year two, totaling over 1,000 hours. Courses include Physiotherapy Across the Lifespan, Evidence-Based Practice, and Professional Issues in Physiotherapy. The program integrates theoretical learning with practical skills in simulated and real-world environments.
