COURSE CURRICULUM

The curriculum covers foundational sciences in year one, including human anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, and exercise principles. Year two builds on this with courses in exercise physiology, nutrition, and psychology. In years three and four, students delve into clinical exercise physiology, pathology, pharmacology, and advanced exercise prescription. The program includes compulsory clinical placements (over 500 hours) in diverse settings, an honours research project, and electives in specialized areas like pediatric or geriatric exercise. Assessment involves exams, practical demonstrations, reports, and a thesis.
