COURSE CURRICULUM

This 3-year program requires completion of 48 units. Year 1 includes foundational courses such as Biology of Cells and Tissues, Chemistry for the Health Professions, Genes, Cells & Evolution, and Biophysical Foundations. Year 2 builds on this with courses in Human Anatomy, Systems Physiology, Biochemistry & Molecular Biology, Microbiology & Immunology, and Cells to Organisms. Year 3 offers advanced studies including Integrative Cell & Tissue Biology, Human Molecular Genetics & Disease, Biomedical Science Research Skills, and electives or a major in areas like Molecular and Cellular Biology or Physiology and Pharmacology. Students can also undertake research projects or industry placements.
