COURSE CURRICULUM

The Diploma in Business Innovation at UniSC is a 96-unit program structured to provide foundational business knowledge alongside practical innovation and professional skills development. The curriculum begins with four introductory courses: Marketing Essentials, Academic and Professional Skills: Planning for Success, ICT for Academic and Professional Applications, and Innovation: Addressing Challenges. These subjects establish core competencies in marketing, academic readiness, digital literacy, and creative problem-solving, helping students adapt to modern business environments. In addition to these core units, students complete four discipline courses selected from a specified list, allowing flexibility to tailor their studies according to interests and career goals. These options include Accounting Principles, Exploring Business Research, Economics for Business, Discovering Management, and Information Systems in Organisations. Students also select one additional introductory-level elective from the School of Business and Creative Industries, further broadening their academic exposure.
