COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor of Business / Design at UniSC is a structured double degree program that blends creative design education with core business knowledge to prepare students for careers in both creative industries and corporate environments. The program begins with introductory courses in accounting principles, economics, management, marketing, business research, and information systems, alongside design-focused subjects such as elements of design, photography, art and digital culture, design methods, drawing practice, and introduction to games programming. These courses help students build both analytical business skills and strong creative foundations. In the developing stage, students study business law to understand legal aspects of professional practice. The graduate-level courses include creative engagement, business governance and society, and workplace readiness through “World of Work,” along with a Work Integrated Learning project or placement that provides practical industry experience. Students choose one Business major and one Design major, with options including marketing, human resource management, digital futures, game design, interactive media, and visual communication. This flexibility allows students to tailor their degree to their interests and career goals. Overall, the program prepares graduates for roles in design studios, advertising agencies, digital media, UX/UI design, branding, and business management, combining creativity with strong commercial and strategic skills.
