COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor of Business / Creative Industries at UniSC is a flexible double degree program that combines business education with creative industry training, preparing students for diverse careers in both corporate and artistic fields. The program begins with introductory courses covering accounting principles, economics, management, marketing essentials, business research, and information systems in organisations. Alongside these, students study creative-focused subjects such as introduction to creative industries, screen and media industries, creative production, creative writing, theatre studies, and music performance, giving them exposure to multiple creative disciplines. In the developing stage, students study business law to understand legal aspects of business operations. The graduate-level courses focus on workplace readiness, business governance and society, and industry-specific skills such as event management for meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions (MICE). Students also complete a Work Integrated Learning project or placement, gaining real-world experience in business or creative environments. A major feature of the program is the flexibility to choose one Business major and one Creative Industries major, with options including marketing, human resource management, digital futures, screen media, music, theatre, and creative writing. Overall, this degree prepares graduates for careers in media, entertainment, marketing, events, tourism, and creative business industries by combining creativity with strong business expertise.
