University of Divinity

University of Divinity was constituted in 1910 by an Act of the Victorian Parliament, originally established as the Melbourne College of Divinity, and holds the distinction of being one of the oldest ecumenical institutions in the world offering academic degrees in theology. This private university didn't formally become a university until 2012, but its collegiate structure, uniting twelve theological colleges from seven Christian denominations, has remained central to its identity from the very beginning. Students researching the University of Divinity acceptance rate and admission requirements should budget for an AUD 300 application fee, along with an offer turnaround time of 7 days. University of Divinity tuition fees and course offerings span theology, ministry, and philosophy, delivered across colleges in Melbourne, Adelaide, Sydney, Brisbane, and Perth. For students seeking a genuinely specialised, faith-based education with more than a century of ecumenical cooperation behind it, University of Divinity's ranking as Australia's oldest theological university is unmatched.
