COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor of Psychological Science/Bachelor of Business combined degree requires students to complete a maximum of 320 units, combining studies in psychology, business, and professional development. The program includes 210 units of core courses, an 80-unit Business major, psychology electives, career-ready placement courses, and directed business courses. Students develop a strong understanding of psychological theories, research methods, human behaviour, mental health, cognition, development, assessment, and applied psychological practices. Core psychology courses cover areas such as introductory psychology, evidence-based mental health interventions, biological psychology, social psychology, perception and learning, developmental psychology, and advanced research methods and statistics. The business component builds essential knowledge in accounting, finance, analytics, marketing, management, innovation, and sustainable business practices. Students can further enhance their learning through psychology-focused electives covering advanced cognitive psychology, health psychology, and specialised psychological topics. Career-ready placement opportunities allow students to gain practical experience through industry placements, international work experiences, psychology work-integrated learning, or industry-led projects.
