COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor of Music and Performing Arts prepares students for diverse careers in music and performing arts, offering opportunities to develop skills as an instrumentalist, singer, composer, songwriter, music producer, tutor, entrepreneur, performer, or in other related professions. The program provides a strong foundation in music theory, technology, industry knowledge, and collaborative practice, while allowing students to focus on their chosen areas of interest, including Performance, Songwriting and Production, or Performing Arts. Through this approach, students gain both technical proficiency and creative expertise that align with professional industry standards.Students can choose to complete a single major or a double major, with recommended combinations such as Performance and Songwriting and Production, Performance and Performing Arts, or Songwriting and Production and Performing Arts. These combinations are designed to reflect contemporary industry practices and equip graduates with versatile skills applicable to multiple professional contexts. While the program is structured to be completed in three years, those pursuing a double major may experience an extended duration, depending on course availability, and are encouraged to consult with their Program Advisor to plan effectively.The program emphasizes practical, hands-on learning alongside theoretical and scholarly engagement. Students develop proficiency in creating, producing, performing, and researching to professional standards, while learning to adapt to collaborative and autonomous work environments.
