COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor of Information Technology/Bachelor of Business combined degree program requires students to complete a total of 320 units, allowing them to gain expertise in both information technology and business over an integrated course of study. The program combines 180 units of core courses with an 80-unit ICT Business Analyst major and an 80-unit Business major of choice. The ICT Business Analyst major develops skills in analysing, designing, and implementing technology solutions that align with organisational objectives. Students learn how to identify business requirements, translate stakeholder needs into technical specifications, and apply data-driven approaches through areas such as programming, data analytics, visualisation, business intelligence, and decision-making. Alongside their IT studies, students can select a Business major in Innovation and Entrepreneurship, International Relations, International Business, Human Resource Management, Leadership and Management, or Marketing, allowing them to tailor their studies to their career interests. The combined degree provides a strong foundation in both technology and business practices, preparing graduates for roles such as business analysts, IT consultants, project managers, systems analysts, and digital transformation specialists. Students are encouraged to follow the recommended program planner to manage course scheduling and minimise potential timetable clashes throughout their studies.
