The program begins with fundamental courses such as EXSS1040 Functional Anatomy for Exercise Science, EXSS1050 Fundamentals of Exercise and Sport Science Practice, and EXSS1060 Fundamentals of Exercise Prescription and Delivery, which establish knowledge of human anatomy, exercise principles, and safe program design. Students then explore lifelong physical activity with EXSS1070 Physical Activity and Exercise Across the Lifespan, while EXSS1080 Psychological, Nutritional and Injury Foundations for Exercise and Sport Science introduces key concepts in mental health, nutrition, and injury prevention.Core physiological and biomechanical principles are developed in EXSS2010 Exercise Physiology and EXSS2020 Biomechanics, complemented by courses in sport and exercise psychology, including EXSS2030 Sport, Exercise and Performance Psychology, and motor control with EXSS2060 Motor Control.
