COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor of Environmental Science and Management/Bachelor of Business combined program requires students to complete 320 units, combining scientific understanding of environmental systems with practical business knowledge. The program includes core courses covering accounting, finance, biology, environmental science, sustainability, management, marketing, environmental legislation, spatial science, and impact assessment. Students develop a strong foundation in understanding ecosystems, environmental challenges, and sustainable management practices while gaining essential business capabilities in areas such as innovation, entrepreneurship, leadership, international business, human resources, marketing, and international relations. The program also includes mathematics, statistics, and career-ready placement components to strengthen analytical abilities and provide valuable professional experience. Students select an Environmental Science and Management major in areas such as Ecosystems and Biodiversity, Marine Science and Management, Climate Science and Natural Hazards, or Sustainability, allowing them to specialise according to their interests and career goals. Through the combination of environmental expertise and business skills, graduates are prepared to address sustainability challenges, identify opportunities in the environmental sector, and contribute to responsible decision-making in organisations and communities.
