COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor of Commerce/Bachelor of Business Analytics requires students to complete 320 units, combining foundational business knowledge with advanced analytical and technical skills. The program includes 130 units of core courses covering accounting, finance, economics, business information systems, business analytics, big data analytics, data visualization, predictive modelling, business intelligence, artificial intelligence, business process modelling, innovation, and design thinking. Students also complete 10 units from a career-ready placement course, choosing from industry placements, industry-led project laboratories, or international work placements to gain practical professional experience. A further 90 units are selected from an approved course list, including business communications, law, programming, ethical business practices, financial technologies, corporate social responsibility, HR analytics, organizational behaviour, cybersecurity, digital transformation, blockchain-based data governance, and international study opportunities, with at least 10 units completed at the 2000 level. Students must also complete one 80-unit Commerce major in Accounting, Economics, or Finance to develop specialized expertise in their chosen discipline. The remaining 10 units are completed as electives, allowing students to broaden their academic interests. Students must complete only approved program courses, remain within the 320-unit requirement, and not exceed 100 units at any level within each component degree, ensuring a balanced and multidisciplinary educational experience.
