The Bachelor of Coastal and Marine Science at the University of Newcastle immerses students in the study of Australia’s unique and diverse coastlines and marine ecosystems, equipping them with practical skills to address critical environmental challenges. From day one, students engage in hands-on learning, exploring ecological, physical, conservation, societal, and management issues like climate change, pollution, urbanization, and conflicting uses of coastal resources.
