COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor of Business/Bachelor of Laws (Honours) is a comprehensive 400-unit combined degree that integrates business education with professional legal studies. The program is structured to provide students with a strong foundation in business principles while developing advanced legal knowledge and practical skills required for professional practice. Students complete 220 units of core courses, 10 units of career-ready placement, 10 units from the Business Course List, 80 units from the Law Course List, and an 80-unit Bachelor of Business major. The Business component includes essential courses in accounting, business analytics, finance, design thinking, marketing, and management, preparing students to understand commercial environments and organisational decision-making. The Law component covers fundamental legal areas including Legal System and Method, Torts, Criminal Law and Procedure, Contracts, Constitutional Law, Administrative Law, Evidence, Company Law, Professional Conduct, Equity and Trusts, Property Law, and Public International Law. Students also complete advanced law electives in areas such as Commercial Law, International Human Rights Law, Intellectual Property Law, Taxation Law, Environmental Law, Advocacy Skills, Dispute Resolution, and International Trade Law. Practical learning opportunities through industry placements and professional experiences enhance employability. By combining business expertise with legal capability, graduates are prepared for careers in corporate law, business management, compliance, consulting, government, commercial practice, and other professional fields requiring multidisciplinary knowledge.
