COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor of Business/Bachelor of Commerce is a comprehensive combined degree requiring students to complete 320 units, combining foundational business knowledge with specialised study in two major areas. The program includes 70 units of core courses, 10 units of career-ready placement, an 80-unit Business major, an 80-unit Commerce major, and 80 units of electives. The core courses provide students with essential skills in accounting, business analytics, economics, finance, design thinking, marketing, management, and sustainability. Students gain practical industry experience through career-ready opportunities such as Industry Placement, Career-Ready Industry Led Project Lab, or International Work Placement in Business. The Business component allows students to specialise in areas including Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Leadership and Management, Human Resource Management, International Relations, or International Business. The Commerce component develops advanced knowledge in professional fields including Accounting, Economics, and Finance. Students also have the flexibility to use electives to expand their expertise or undertake a double major, provided they meet the program requirements. By combining applied business skills with commerce expertise, this degree prepares graduates for diverse career pathways in management, finance, accounting, marketing, entrepreneurship, international business, consulting, and other professional roles across local and global industries.
