The Bachelor of Business at the University of Newcastle prepares students for a dynamic and evolving professional landscape by providing a comprehensive range of applied skills and knowledge essential for future business leaders. The program adopts a practical approach to business education, covering key areas such as innovation, business analytics, marketing, management, and finance. Students have the flexibility to tailor their degree by choosing up to two majors or one major with up to two minors, enabling them to gain expertise across multiple business areas. The six majors offered—innovation and entrepreneurship, marketing, leadership and management, human resources management, international relations, and international business—allow students to align their studies with their career aspirations. Majors are available at different campuses, including Newcastle City Precinct, Ourimbah, and PSB Singapore, offering students access to a wide range of learning opportunities and experiences.A key feature of the program is its emphasis on applied learning and real-world relevance. Students engage with case studies based on authentic business scenarios, enabling them to understand the practical challenges and opportunities they may face in their careers.
