The Master of Engineering Science (Photovoltaics and Solar Energy) at UNSW Sydney is a 96 Units of Credit (UOC) postgraduate program designed to provide advanced knowledge and specialist skills in solar energy technologies, photovoltaics, and renewable energy systems. The program combines foundational engineering principles, specialised technical study, research experience, and professional development to prepare graduates for leadership roles in the sustainable energy sector. Students begin with 12 UOC of foundational core courses that establish key concepts in energy systems and photovoltaic technologies, followed by 12 UOC of foundational electives that allow further exploration of related engineering areas.
