COURSE CURRICULUM

The curriculum is structured over four years. In the first three years, students complete core psychology courses including Introduction to Psychology, Research Methods, Statistics, Developmental Psychology, Social Psychology, Cognitive Processes, Personality and Psychopathology, and Biological Psychology. Electives allow exploration of areas like Health Psychology or Forensic Psychology. The program includes practical components such as laboratory work and group projects to apply theoretical knowledge. In the fourth honours year, students undertake advanced seminars, specialized electives, and a substantial research thesis under supervision. This involves designing, conducting, and reporting on original research. The total credit points required are 192, with a focus on building a strong foundation in psychological theory and empirical methods. Assessment includes exams, essays, presentations, and the thesis.
