COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor of Politics, Philosophy & Economics (PPE) / Bachelor of Laws is a double degree requiring students to complete a total of 288 Units of Credit (UOC), with an equal distribution of 144 UOC in PPE and 144 UOC in Law. The program is designed to provide a strong interdisciplinary education that combines legal training with the analytical and critical perspectives of politics, philosophy, and economics. The PPE component (Program 3478) introduces students to three interconnected disciplines that examine how societies function and how decisions are made at political, ethical, and economic levels. Through this integrated study, students develop the ability to critically evaluate complex global issues such as justice, inequality, governance, public policy, and economic systems. The Law component (Program 4701) provides a comprehensive grounding in legal principles, reasoning, and institutional frameworks, enabling students to understand how laws are created, interpreted, and applied. Together, the program builds strong analytical, research, and communication skills, while also encouraging ethical reflection and problem-solving. Students gain practical experience through opportunities such as mooting, internships, clinical legal education, and international exchange programs, which enhance their professional readiness. By combining PPE with Law, graduates emerge with a versatile and powerful skill set suited for careers in law, government, public policy, international relations, consulting, advocacy, and other fields that require deep analytical thinking and a strong understanding of both societal systems and legal frameworks.
