COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor of Fine Arts / Bachelor of Law is a comprehensive double degree requiring students to complete a total of 240 Units of Credit (UOC), combining professional legal education with advanced creative arts training. The program is structured to provide equal opportunities for the development of analytical, legal, and creative capabilities, preparing graduates for a wide range of professional pathways. The Bachelor of Fine Arts component consists of 96 UOC and focuses on building artistic, technical, and theoretical expertise through specialised study in creative disciplines such as Animation and Moving Image, Art Theory, Music, or Visual Arts. Students engage in practical and conceptual learning that encourages creativity, experimentation, critical thinking, and the development of a distinctive artistic practice. The Bachelor of Law component comprises 144 UOC and delivers a thorough grounding in legal knowledge, legal reasoning, ethical practice, and the principles underpinning the justice system. Through the study of core and advanced law subjects, students develop strong skills in legal analysis, research, advocacy, communication, and problem-solving. The combination of Fine Arts (Program 4830) and Law (Program 4701) creates a multidisciplinary qualification that enables students to understand complex legal and social issues while maintaining a strong creative perspective. Graduates emerge with versatile skills and knowledge applicable to careers in law, creative industries, media, arts administration, policy, and other interdisciplinary professional fields.
