COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) combined with the Bachelor of Laws is a comprehensive double degree program requiring the completion of 312 Units of Credit (UOC), integrating both technical engineering education and legal studies. The Law component contributes 144 UOC in total and is structured to build strong foundations in legal knowledge, critical thinking, and professional practice. It includes 96 UOC of compulsory law courses that establish core legal principles and frameworks, 6 UOC of prescribed law courses that focus on specific legal areas, and 42 UOC of law elective courses that allow students to explore specialised legal topics aligned with their interests and career goals. The Engineering component comprises 168 UOC in a chosen engineering specialisation, providing in-depth technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and practical engineering training across disciplines such as civil, mechanical, electrical, or emerging fields like renewable energy engineering. This structure ensures students develop both analytical legal reasoning and strong scientific and technical expertise.
