COURSE CURRICULUM

The course structure requires students to successfully complete 72 credit points to qualify for the award, ensuring they develop advanced knowledge and skills relevant to their chosen field. To maintain academic depth, no more than 6 credit points may be taken at the 100-level, while at least 60 credit points must be completed at the 400/500-level, allowing students to engage with higher-level theoretical and practical content. Under Rule A, candidates complete 72 credit points through designated course components that may include core units, listed units, and specialised subjects that support mastery of key disciplinary areas. Rule B applies to candidates who are eligible for advanced standing based on prior qualifications or experience; these students complete a combination of approved advanced standing units along with additional course components to reach the required 72 credit points. This pathway recognises previous learning while ensuring students still acquire the essential outcomes of the program. Rule C accommodates candidates admitted under a separate set of entry requirements and allows for a structured blend of advanced standing and targeted course components tailored to their background. Across all rules, the course is designed to be flexible and supportive of students with varying academic or professional histories, ensuring each pathway leads to the same high-quality learning outcomes.
