COURSE CURRICULUM

The Graduate Diploma in Economics at UNE requires students to complete 48 credit points, with at least 30 credit points at 400-level or above. The program is structured to accommodate students admitted under different rules. Candidates admitted under Rule A must complete the specified core units along with listed units that allow them to build advanced knowledge in economics and applied analytical skills. Those admitted under Rule B may have advanced standing, which can reduce the number of units required, and must complete a combination of core and listed units to meet the award requirements. The course provides a flexible pathway for students to enhance their understanding of economic theory, quantitative methods, and practical application in business, government, and societal contexts. It allows for both on-campus and online study, enabling students to balance their learning with professional and personal commitments.
