COURSE CURRICULUM

The Graduate Certificate in Cybersecurity and Computing at UNE requires students to complete 48 credit points to qualify for the award. The program is structured to ensure a balance between foundational and advanced learning, with no more than 24 credit points at 100-level and a minimum of 18 credit points at 400-level or above. The course is divided into two main components: Computing Foundations, which provides essential knowledge in computer science principles, and Cybersecurity Postgraduate Foundations, which builds advanced understanding and skills in cybersecurity theory and practice. This structure allows students, even those without prior IT experience, to develop both technical and analytical competencies needed to address cybersecurity challenges. The program is designed to equip students with practical, industry-relevant skills, enabling them to design solutions for information security, cloud computing, network protection, and risk management. Students can study full-time or part-time and have the flexibility to choose between online or on-campus modes, allowing them to balance their studies with personal and professional commitments.
