COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor of Social Science with Honours requires students to complete 48 credit points at the 400 level, which include both advanced coursework and an honours dissertation. Throughout the program, each candidate is expected to consult regularly with their appointed supervisor or supervisors, with the frequency and format of these meetings decided by the supervisors and the Head of School in consultation with the student. These consultations may require face-to-face meetings. Students are not permitted to enrol in units from other courses or institutions at the same time unless special permission is granted by the course coordinator on the recommendation of the Head of School. Candidates must complete one major of 48 credit points, which must match the major specified in their offer letter. Available majors include Criminology, Geography, Linguistics, Politics, Peace and International Relations, Philosophy and Sociology.
