COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor of Nursing requires students admitted under any of the entry rules to successfully complete units totalling 144 credit points in order to qualify for the award. The structure varies depending on the admission pathway. Under Rule A, students complete 144 credit points of core units, with the course offered on campus at Armidale or online, and available for commencement in Trimester 1 only. Rule B also requires a total of 144 credit points, but includes advanced standing for eligible candidates, allowing recognition of prior learning before progressing to the remaining core units. This pathway is likewise offered both online and on campus in Armidale, with commencement restricted to Trimester 1. Rule C, available only on campus in Armidale, also comprises 144 credit points and provides advanced standing for eligible students before they proceed to their required core units; admission for this rule begins in Trimester 3. Across all rules, students follow a structured combination of advanced standing (where applicable) and core units designed to build clinical, theoretical and professional nursing skills.
