COURSE CURRICULUM

You’ll learn through a distinctive clinical model of education, unique in Australia, which emphasises evidence-based practice and responsiveness to individual learner needs. Engaging with the latest research, you will develop advanced skills in assessing student abilities, analysing learning data and tailoring instruction to support every student’s progress over time. In your final year, you will deepen your expertise through a Work Integrated Learning experience focused on a specialised area of interest. This capstone component includes a placement related to your chosen topic, which may occur outside traditional school environments such as hospitals, museums, art galleries or other community settings. This experience fosters reflective practice, personal growth and alignment with the ongoing professional learning expectations within teaching careers. Throughout the program, study is delivered through a combination of flexible online learning, interactive on-campus sessions and supported school-based placements, ensuring strong practical preparation alongside theoretical knowledge. To graduate, you must complete 200 credit points, with the flexibility to choose between a standard full-time two-year pathway or an accelerated 1.5-year option, enabling you to enter the teaching profession sooner if desired.
