COURSE CURRICULUM

The curriculum is primarily research-based, requiring students to complete a thesis of approximately 30,000-40,000 words that represents a significant original contribution to the field of health sciences. There are no formal coursework components, but students may be required to attend seminars, workshops, or short courses on research methods, ethics, and academic writing as recommended by their supervisor. The program includes regular progress reviews, and students must present their research proposals and findings at departmental seminars. Supervision is provided by experienced academics in areas such as public health, biomedical sciences, nursing, or allied health. The focus is on developing research skills, including literature review, data collection and analysis, and thesis writing. Students are expected to engage with the academic community through conferences and publications.
