COURSE CURRICULUM

The MPhil consists of an original piece of research culminating in a thesis of approximately 30,000-40,000 words. There is no formal coursework component, but candidates are required to participate in research training activities, seminars, and may need to complete relevant ethics and methodology training. The curriculum is research-focused, with supervision guiding the student through literature review, methodology design, data collection, analysis, and thesis writing. Topics may include dental materials, oral pathology, periodontology, or public dental health. Progress is monitored through regular reviews and presentations. The program emphasizes critical thinking, research skills, and contribution to dental science knowledge.
