COURSE CURRICULUM

The Master of Management (Human Resources) is offered as a 200-point program comprising 16 subjects or a 150-point program for students with 50 points of advanced standing, which consists of 12 subjects. The program provides a comprehensive foundation in business and human resource management, preparing students for leadership roles in people management, strategy, and organisational development.The 200-point program begins with four foundation subjects in the first semester, covering business analysis, value creation, managerial economics, and management competencies. In the second semester of the first year, students complete four core subjects including managerial decision analytics, human resource fundamentals, managing behaviour in organisations, and people and capability.In the second year, students continue with three advanced core subjects focusing on performance and reward management, international human resource management, and HRM in the new world of work. Capstone subjects, HR consulting and strategic human resource management, provide practical, real-world experience. Students also select electives such as diversity, equity and inclusion, people and change, and conflict and negotiation to tailor their learning to their career goals.The 150-point program follows a similar structure, omitting the foundation subjects and allowing students with prior business study to complete the course in an accelerated format. Both pathways integrate theoretical knowledge with practical application, including consulting projects and opportunities to develop advanced skills in leadership, decision-making, and organisational strategy. The program equips graduates to manage and lead people effectively in a variety of organisational settings, both locally and internationally.
