COURSE CURRICULUM

The Master of Management (Entrepreneurship and Innovation) is designed for students seeking to build advanced knowledge and practical skills in innovative business development, strategic thinking, and entrepreneurial leadership. The course structure is flexible, offering two entry pathways depending on previous academic qualifications and professional experience. The 200 Point Entry pathway is ideal for students beginning postgraduate management studies and includes four compulsory foundation core subjects worth 50 points, six disciplinary core subjects worth 75 points, two capstone subjects totaling 25 points, and four electives worth 50 points. Students entering via the 150 Point Entry pathway complete six disciplinary core subjects, two capstone subjects, and four electives, enabling a more streamlined route focused on advanced content. Throughout the course, students engage with subjects such as Managing for Value Creation, Management Competencies, Business Analysis and Decision Making, and Managerial Economics, which must be taken in the first semester for 200 Point Entry students. The program encourages analytical thinking, leadership development, and the ability to evaluate opportunities for creating value in commercial and social contexts. Through electives, students can tailor their study to areas such as innovation strategy, entrepreneurial finance, venture creation, digital transformation, and sustainable business practices. The inclusion of capstone subjects enables students to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world industry problems, often involving collaboration with industry partners or the development of entrepreneurial projects.
