COURSE CURRICULUM

The Master of Film and Television is a 24-month full-time program worth 200 credit points, with the option to specialise in Filmmaking or Screen Producing. The course is structured around eight core subjects totaling 156.25 points, plus two specialisation-specific subjects worth 43.75 points. Students may exit after the first year with a Graduate Diploma.The Filmmaking specialisation is designed to develop advanced skills in screen storytelling, thinking, and production. In the first year, students complete Screen Story 1 and 2, Screen Thinking 1 and 2, and Screen Making 1 and 2, gaining foundational and practical expertise in filmmaking. In the second year, students focus on capstone and industry projects, including Screen Production, Screen Post-Production, and an Industry Project, allowing them to apply their knowledge to professional-level productions and develop a portfolio ready for the industry.Throughout the program, students benefit from intensive, studio-based learning, mentorship from industry professionals, and collaborative projects that mirror real-world filmmaking practices.
