COURSE CURRICULUM

The Master of Economics at Melbourne Business School is a two-year full-time program designed to equip students with advanced knowledge in economic theory, econometrics, and applied analysis, preparing graduates for careers as professional economists in public, private, and research sectors. The second year deepens this foundation with further core subjects in microeconomics, macroeconomics, and econometrics, complemented by a two-part Economics Research Report and electives in development economics, public economics, and mathematics for economists.Throughout the program, students develop strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills, enabling them to interpret economic data, forecast trends, and contribute to economic research.
