Through hands-on training, students gain practical experience under close supervision, allowing them to refine technical skills and build professional confidence.Clinical training is undertaken at the Royal Dental Hospital of Melbourne (RHDM) and Melbourne Dental Clinic (MDC), with student performance assessed and feedback provided at both mid-year and end-of-year intervals. This ensures continuous professional development and measurable improvement in practical competencies.The research subject provides foundational knowledge in research methodologies, enabling students to plan and conduct investigations in areas of clinical interest.
