COURSE CURRICULUM

The curriculum spans 200 credit points over two years full-time. Year 1 includes core subjects like Foundations of Biotechnology, Biotechnology in Practice, and Business Tools for Biotechnology. Students also take electives in areas such as molecular biology, biochemistry, or microbiology. Year 2 focuses on advanced topics including Biotechnology Research Project, Intellectual Property Law for Biotechnology, and Commercialisation of Science. The program incorporates a major research project or industry internship, allowing students to apply theoretical knowledge to practical scenarios. Additional modules cover ethics, regulatory affairs, and project management. The structure ensures a balance between scientific depth and professional skills development, with assessments through exams, reports, presentations, and the capstone project.
