COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor of Nursing spans three years and includes foundational courses in human anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, and pathophysiology. Year one focuses on health assessment, fundamentals of nursing practice, and introductory clinical placements. Year two advances to specialized areas such as mental health nursing, acute care, and chronic illness management, with increased clinical hours. The final year emphasizes leadership, research in nursing, and complex care scenarios, culminating in extensive clinical practicums. Core subjects include Nursing in Complex Settings, Health Promotion, and Indigenous Health. Students must complete 800 hours of clinical placement. The program incorporates blended learning with lectures, tutorials, simulations, and online modules to develop clinical reasoning and professional skills.
