COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor of Medical Studies is the first part of the six-year Adelaide medical program. The curriculum is structured around six core themes: Scientific Basis of Medicine, Clinical Skills, Health and Society, Medical Professional and Personal Development, Research and Critical Reasoning, and Integration and Practice. In the first three years, students will undertake clinical placements in a variety of settings including the Royal Adelaide Hospital and community general practices. The program includes case-based learning, small group discovery experiences, and simulation-based learning.
