COURSE CURRICULUM

Completing the Master of Science (Biotechnology) Graduate Diploma requires six core units and two elective units, providing a comprehensive foundation in both theoretical and practical aspects of biotechnology. The core units include The Microbial World, Concepts of Biotechnology, Biotechnology of Genes and Proteins, Environmental Biotechnology, a Minor Research Project, and Research Methods in Science. Together, these units develop a deep understanding of microbiology, molecular biology, and genetic technologies, while also equipping students with research design and analytical skills essential for scientific inquiry.The Minor Research Project offers students hands-on experience in conducting experiments, analyzing data, and interpreting results, fostering independent thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
