The Master of Information Technology includes core units that provide students with essential skills and knowledge for designing, developing, and managing IT solutions. Creating Web Applications (COS60004) equips students with practical skills to build dynamic web-based applications. Data Management for the Big Data Age (COS60009) focuses on techniques for handling, processing, and analysing large-scale datasets. User-Centred Design (COS70004) teaches principles of designing IT solutions with a focus on usability and user experience. Technology Design Project (COS60011) provides a practical, hands-on opportunity to apply theoretical knowledge and technical skills to develop innovative IT solutions. Together, these units prepare graduates for professional roles in information and communication technology, enabling them to create, manage, and optimise advanced IT systems.
