COURSE CURRICULUM

The Graduate Certificate in Information Technology is awarded upon completion of four core units and four specialisation units, providing foundational knowledge and skills in IT design, development, and management. The core units include Creating Web Applications (COS60004), which teaches practical skills in building web applications; Data Management for the Big Data Age (COS60009), focusing on handling and analysing large datasets; User-Centred Design (COS70004), which develops skills in designing technology with usability in mind; and Technology Design Project (COS60011), offering hands-on experience in developing innovative IT solutions. Combined with the specialisation units, this program prepares graduates to undertake professional roles in information and communication technology, equipping them to design, implement, and maintain effective IT systems across various industry contexts.
